vetiveria zizanoides essential oil

ATTENTION THE VETIVER EO IS VERY THICK, SYRUPY AND THE BOTTLES DO NOT HAVE DROPPER, IT WOULD NOT WORK.. thank you

Vetiver is a grass (grasses) that grows its roots several meters deep. It is used in particular to fix dunes and slopes. Its roots are distilled with water vapor.

There are several types of vetiver: In South America, the roots form compact blocks that must be cut to extract them. In India, as in Madagascar, the roots are long and wavy like hair. They are cleaned and then distilled in stills with steam for a fairly long time (8 to 12 hours for complete extraction).

The essential oil obtained is quite thick, syrupy, and its persistent and powerful, earthy scent is calm, enveloping, protective. The composition of Madagascar vetiver is a little different from the vetivers of India, Haiti or South America. It offers a greater proportion of sesquiterpenols which give it immunostimulant properties and a feminine ally as a regulator of menstruation through its action on the hormonal system. Its sesquiterpenes have a hypotensive, venous and lymphatic decongestant, emmenagogue, mild anti-inflammatory, and anti-allergenic action. Finally, some esters have a calming, anxiolytic and heart rate regulating action. Vetiver essential oil does not contain any known allergens (IFRA regulation)

It is a mild antibacterial and immunostimulant. Vetiver essential oil is considered a tonic for the pancreas, and for venous and lymphatic circulation. It soothes menstrual pain when applied to the abdomen in combination with clary sage diluted in apricot or calophyllum vegetable oil; similarly with Italian helichrysum essential oil diluted in olive or calophyllum oil it will reabsorb hemorrhoids. Vetiver essential oil diluted in jojoba or sweet almond oil will have a soothing effect on eczema, redness, pruritus, hives, pimples.

It is used in olfactotherapy to anchor, become aware and reflect deeply on acceptance. It promotes sleep and relaxation, calms tensions and reassures. When you perfume your home with vetiver on static diffusers, terracotta, or rice straw or potpourri, you create a comfortable and well-being atmosphere, exceptional. You feel good as soon as you walk through the door, a happy feeling of being protected at home.
