Description

The essential oil of happiness and conviviality. This endemic plant of Madagascar is a poaceae, with a very low yield during distillation, which makes it very precious. It is harvested, then flattened before being distilled while fresh. The distillation lasts about 4 hours and the oil, a beautiful pale yellow, is separated from the hydrosol in which it appears above in the essential oil container (lighter than water). It is considered an excellent psycho-relaxant , with a lively and bright scent of good humor. 2 drops, 3 times a day on a neutral medium (honey, cane sugar, vegetable oil or in herbal tea) to provide soothing, decompression, deep relaxation conducive to sleep or discussion in complete serenity. In diffusion, joyful, it promotes communication, creativity and commercial exchanges.


It is used in cosmetics for the treatment of oily and acne-prone skin with tea tree or niaouli essential oil (diffusion, massage, bath, perfumery, cosmetics) action on pain (rheumatism and joints). It has an action on mites and fungal filaments such as aspergillus niger in 50/50 association with lemon eucalyptus or Java citronella. It can also be used in the context of urinary tract infections on prescription.
